Nightingale Institute of Nursing Education has well-equipped physical infrastructure. The well planned infrastructure encompasses Academic Blocks, Administrative Block, Faculty Offices, Library, Laboratories, Hostel and mess.
The college has well equipped six smart class rooms with LCD Projectors, Overhead Projectors, Good ventilation and space. The class rooms are tailored to meet the individual need of the students and maximum utilization of the resources. The college is also provided with hygienic rest rooms and safe drinking water facilities.
The College has laboratory facilities for nursing foundation, Medical Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Nutrition, Micro Biology, Computer, Anatomy and Physiology and Audio-Visual Aids.
The College has a seminar hall with latest audio and video equipment to accommodate 150 persons.
Three multipurpose halls with a seating capacity of 200 to 400 members are available to conduct university Exams, Function Hall and Seminars, Symposium. These halls are equipped with the latest audio-visual gadgets..
The college library is well established in 3000 sq.ft area with a seating capacity of 100 students. The total book accounts more than 4200 with 20 national and 10 international journals and periodicals of various specialty and super specialty in nursing. The library has adequate ventilation, Separate reading room for staff and students, Free internet, Xerox and copier facilities. .
Systems & Ejournals
We promote inter college and Intra college sports events to showcase their talents in sports related activities. The sport facilities include outdoor games and indoor games. The teams from the college regularly participate in intercollegiate events and they have done the college proud in various sporting disciplines.
Every year Medifest program is organized and conducted in the month of May. All the students are given opportunity to explore their talents in the various events like dance (folk, western), singing competitions, quiz, painting, megandi, rangoli, tenicoit, carom, chess, shuttle, shotput, disc throw, relay, running, long jump etc. Students also participate in "Kovai Marathon" and win prizes every year.
The college has adequate transport facilities to help students to reach their respective clinical areas of practice, Community programmes and to participate in various field visits.
Transportation has an important service a component in the form of transport facility completely managed by our institution. Over 240 students are taking benefits of transportation facility in the campus. Pick and drop facility in the clinical areas are arranged as per the timings of college curriculum with one nursing tutor always in bus travelling with the students. In order to cover all the clinical areas of different cities like Coimbatore town, kuniamuthur, near community villages etc. the sufficient numbers of buses are stocked in the campus. Our bus drivers are highly experienced and are licensed by the RTO to drive college buses to ensure utmost safety of both the students & staff members. Also bus facility is available for the students & faculty members for their industrial visits, hospital visits, field trips, and other recreational activities of students.
Nightingale Ladies Hostel has capacity to accommodate 250 inmates. The Hostel consist of three wings, two wings are allotted for students and one for staff. Nightingale Hostel campus provides safe and comfortable living environment separately for girls and boys. There is only one block for girls. Each consists of more than 50 rooms for students and separate office for staff and wardens. The hostel has spacious study halls, Kitchen with sufficient store room, Mess Hall, Sick room, round the clock and first aid facilities and 24 hours electricity with water facilities.
Recreation:
The hostel has facilities of indoor and outdoor sports and television for entertainment are provided for the students.
Mess:
The mess provides hygienic and healthy food for the students. The students are provided with mess timings and remain open for three hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
